I receive an invalid token_id or invalid JWT error when trying to authenticate

This article provides an overview of the invalid token_id and invalid JWT error message and how to recover and authenticate again.


What’s the issue?

When attempting to authenticate, I am presented with an error invalid token_id or invalid JWT. These errors occur when a user's system clock is in the future by more than 15 minutes or in the past by more than 70 minutes.

What’s the solution?

This can be resolved by setting the time and date correctly on that specific device. We recommend having the operating system set the time and date automatically.

    This solution worked. But system time was only 5 mins ahead of current time.
